Interests

In terms of career interests, I am currently open to trying any sort of Computer Science related field, whether it would be Software Developer on the back end, front end, or full stack, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or Machine Learning. I have a preference for being a Software Engineer or Developer however, and I would like to pursue a career where I get to code.

I am also interested in learning programming languages. Currently the ones that I am very comfortable with are Java and C. I am looking to learn some sort of script language such as JavaScript, and also learn more backend languages like C++, database languages like SQL or a pure Object Oriented Programming language like Python.

Above all, in Computer Science I believe that the most important interest that I have is Algorithms. Here is one of my favorite videos related to Sorting Algorithms:

This video above showcases 15 sorting algorithms that really piqued my interest with CS. From sequential sorting to divide-and-conquer sorting to joke sorting algorithms, it really made me wonder how these sorting algorithms worked and how algorithms play a big part in CS.
